Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Best Settings for max Fps

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is by far one of the most played games made by Ubisoft. With amazing graphics and gameplay, the gaming community can’t help but fall in love. Sadly not everyone has overpowered PCs so many players kept facing lag and FPS issues. So here are the best graphics settings for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to fix lag and boost FPS. This guide focuses on trying to maximize FPS as much as possible without compromising on quality. So let’s begin:

Best Graphics Settings for Assassin Creed Valhalla

Graphics Quality: Custom

Since we will be customizing each option this setting will automatically change to custom. If you are too lazy then you can directly set the graphics options to low and be done with it. It’s a good quick and dirty fix for low FPS in Valhalla.

Adaptive Quality: Off

Adaptive Quality will keep adjusting the FPS by changing settings. This actually increases CPU load and causes inconsistency and FPS drops from what we tested. I recommend turning it off.

Anti Aliasing: Low

Anti-Aliasing is quite useful especially if you have a large monitor. this option reduces jagged-edged and overly sharp textures to smooth in Assassins’ Creed Valhalla. Low settings are more than enough. At high antialiasing settings, FPS will drop significantly.

World Details: Medium

World Details is perhaps the most important Graphics setting in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It basically deals with all the in-game textures you see in the world. This setting basically defines graphics for nearly all the objects in Valhalla. Medium settings are the best for HIGH FPS without much compromise in quality. You can enjoy decent graphics without compromising on fps.

Clutter: Low

Clutter’s settings as the name suggests deal with clutter like ground objects, like grass, trees, rocks etc. I recommend using low settings since the game looks okay at low settings. Medium is better if your PC can support it. The game looks good in medium settings and the FPS drop is negligible.

Clutter makes the game experience look and feel really good.

Shadows: Low

Shadows take a lot of VRAM and graphics resources. Set it to low. You will get a good FPS Boost when shadows are low.

At High shadow settings in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will see sharp and fresh shadows with the sunlight reflecting on the objects making them look really good. However, the FPS drop is too much to don’t use it unless you have a decent gpu

Volumetric Clouds: Medium

Volumetric Cloud basically lowers the quality of the sky. Medium is the lowest option. Keep it at medium.

Water: Low

Water Quality is not that important. You won’t notice it much. Best to set it at low and enjoy the FPS boost you will get in the game. You will actually notice that at low settings underwater objects are much clearer making the game much more easier.

I tested low, medium, and high, the difference isn’t that major but for low-end systems low is best.

Screen Space Reflections: Off

I recommend turning it off. You a get a decent FPS boost. The game runs smoother even though there is a bit of a drop in graphics quality.

Environment Textures: Low or Medium

Just like World Details, the environment textures deal with the quality of the environment in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game looks really good with medium settings so I recommend medium. If you have a low-end PC or laptop then Low settings are better for you.

Character Textures: Low

I recommend low for low-end systems. The character textures define how good Eivor looks in Valhalla. I recommend Low since the FPS will be higher. If you want you can set it to medium for a better gameplay experience but I prefer low since I play the game on my low-end laptop.

Depth of Field: Off

Turn it Off. It technically should help improve the game quality but I didn’t notice any difference when I used it. Turn it off to save GPU Resources for other things.

Motion Blur: Off

Unnecessary graphics effect turn it off.

Resolution Scale: Keep it at 90 or 100%

This makes the game look really good so keep it at default 100%. If you are lagging way too much you can use 90% as the final option. Anything lower than that makes the textures blurry and unplayable.

If you still have lag issues then check out how to optimize your pc or laptop for gaming. This guide can help boost your FPS by up to 30% provided you do all the things.
