Top 15 Battleroyale Games for Mobiles

A battle royale game is an online multiplayer video game genre that blends last-man-standing gameplay with the survival, exploration, and scavenging elements of a survival game. Battleroyale games involve dozens to hundreds of players, who start with minimal equipment and then must eliminate all other opponents while avoiding being trapped outside of a shrinking “safe area”, with the winner being the last player or last team alive. We have listed the Top 15 battleroyale games for mobiles you will love to play.

1.Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile
Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile had the largest mobile game release of all time. It has been most popular in the U.S., which claims 17.3 million of the 100 million downloads, India was next with 13.7 million. There’s a reason for it. The game is one of the most polished in the genre with a good amount of content. The game features various PvP modes, including a 100-player battle royale mode. In addition, the game has a ton of weapons, customizations, and other characters to unlock and play with as you grind it out.

It’s honestly right up there with PUBG Mobile and Fortnite as among the best battle royale games on mobile and unless the developers really mess up, it should stay that way for a while. With multiplayer, 5v5 team deathmatches are at the smack dab center of the gameplay. What makes this ridiculously fun is that everything here is fast-paced an average team match lasts for about seven minutes, so you’re not dawdling at any moment. The objective is simply to be the first to register 50 kills of your opponent team, and you win.

2.PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile is one of the big names in battle royale games on mobile. It features 100-person matches on a large map that slowly collapses to get players to engage with one another. You play as a mercenary who parachutes, along with up to 99 other players, onto an island. Once they land, players scavenge for weapons, ammo, armor, and other supplies in a last-man-standing deathmatch. The game’s map starts large but quickly shrinks as the electrical storm around the island collapses into progressively smaller circles, forcing players together as the game goes on. There are a variety of weapons, gear, and vehicles to aid in destruction. It’s a surprisingly stable game that runs fairly smooth as long as you have the right graphics settings for your device.

There is also a PUBG Mobile Lite version for those with lower-end devices. It has less intense graphics, 50 players instead of 100, and a few other optimizations. The game lit the world on fire in 2017. It sold millions before it even left Early Access on Steam, and kicked off the battle royale gaming craze we’re experiencing right now. Not too long ago this FPS juggernaut landed on mobile.

3.Garena Free Fire

Garena Free Fire
Garena Free Fire

Garena Free Fire is one of the most popular battle royale games. The game includes ten-minute games with up to 50 participants. When players join a game, they will enter a plane, which will fly over the island. While the plane is flying over the island, the players can jump where they want. It allows them to choose a strategic place to land away from enemies. After landing, the players must then go looking for weapons and utility items. Medical equipment, medium and large weapons, grenades, and other items featured can be found throughout the island. It uses shooter mechanics like most of its peers.

The ultimate goal of the players is to survive on the island with a maximum of 50–51 players online; this requires eliminating all opponents the players encounter along the way and ensuring that they are the only survivors remaining. You can also create four-man squads with a voice chat. Our testing went surprisingly well. The graphics are decent and the gameplay is smooth. Loading is actually fairly quick. The game was published in India, Brazil, Mexico, and Southeast Asia by Garena, a digital service company from Singapore.

4.Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale
Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite for mobile phones is a battle royale genre game where the objective is to be the last player standing. Each match kicks off with every character in a flying bus that takes a random route over an island with multiple types of terrain and cities. At any time during this flyover, players can jump to the ground and begin their journey it brings everything you love about the game onto your favorite on-the-go device. Join and chat with your friends — regardless of what platform they’re on — and make progress on your Battle. When you start up Fornite on mobile, the first choice you will make is how you want to fire your weapon. On mobile, Fortnite offers three ways to fire your weapon: Auto Fire, Tap Anywhere, or Dedicated Button.

The game includes a 100-player battle royale like most in the genre. You drop into an island from a plane, build your armaments, find weapons, and take out the other players. It is a cut above most battle royale games because it also includes a crafting element. Additionally, this one lets you sync your data between the console and PC versions so you can bring all of your skins with you. The game has its flaws, but it’s a lot better than it used to be. The game was also launched on the Play Store officially in early 2020 so you no longer have to sideload the app from Epic Games’ store.

5.Battlelands Royale

Battlelands Royale
Battlelands Royale

Battlelands Royale is a casual gun game for everyone to enjoy. The game is a third-person battle royale shooter. It’s also a bit smaller than most. Players drop into 32-person battle royales. Most matches take between three to five minutes. Otherwise, it’s a fairly standard battle royale experience. You find stuff, use that stuff to slay opponents and try to be the last player standing.  There are also character upgrades, the standard shrinking area mechanic, and more. It’s significantly lighter than PUBG, as the graphics are cartoony, the map is smaller and the view is aerial and fixed (as opposed to three-dimensional third person).

Games in which you survive until the end last less than 10 minutes, and only up to 30 players are allowed in any single match. During the loading screen, while you wait for the lobby to fill up, you can tap on the map to choose where you want to land. Once the game starts, your character automatically parachutes on the area you chose, and you fall for about 5 seconds during which you can adjust the exact landing spot.  With 32 players and 3-5 minute battles, it’s pure non-stop carnage!  No waiting in lobbies; no complicated menus to navigate. Just play, parachute, loot, shoot and survive!

6.Creative Destruction

Creative Destruction
Creative Destruction

The game was developed by Titan Studio but later was purchased by Netease games. Creative Destruction is a sandbox-based battle royal just like Fortnite but for mobile devices. Creative Destruction is extremely similar to Fortnite. In fact, we consider it a clone. It’s a decent clone, though. The game includes a large map with varying landscapes and 100-person matches. You can craft and destroy stuff. Additionally, you can play in third or first-person perspectives. The game runs terribly on some mid-range and low-end phones.

The game will be a perfect match for players who want to get a feel for Fortnite on their mobile phones. Even as a stand-alone game there is a lot to like about Creative Destruction. Building mechanics are well developed. The weapon system is also much more polished than what you would expect from a clone game. Compared to Free Fire which was a clone of PUBG Creative Destruction is much better.

7.Guns Royale – Multiplayer Blocky Battle Royale

Guns Royale - Multiplayer Blocky Battle Royale
Guns Royale – Multiplayer Blocky Battle Royale

Guns Royale is a fairly standard battle royale title in terms of pure mechanics. You drop down in a massive free for all shootout with a bunch of players in a shrinking game zone. However, the game goes from a first-person perspective to a three-quarters isometric style view. This gives you the ability to see your opponents all around you, even behind corners sot the game dynamic is a lot different. The great thing about Guns Royale’s AR Mode is that you don’t need a large space to play the game. Yes, you do play in a large arena, but the game just shows you a small chunk of it to limit your field of view. It is a relatively very small map. You can’t compare it to a game like Battlegrounds that has a huge map and plays with up to 100 players.

This game was designed for mobile. It doesn’t play in the classic third-person perspective but from an isometric top-down view. It works really well and the gameplay felt really comfortable on iPad. Additionally. It’s free to play, a game like basically all other battle royale games, but it’s not aggressive with it or anything. Additionally, most IO games have a battle royale feel to them.

8.Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground

Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground
Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground

Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground is a clone of PUBG, obviously. It uses pixel-style graphics, but most of the mechanics and controls are the same as other shooter battle royale games. You drop in, find stuff, kill the other players, and survive the longest. Jump to the island from the chopper, collect loot and hunt down opponents! BUT! Watch out for the shrinking zone, it does major damage! Shoot from pixel guns, Kalashnikovs, multi-barrel guns, and more. This one also features an in-game chat, auto shooting, lower graphics settings for lower-end phones.

9.Rules of Survival

Rules of Survival
Rules of Survival

Rules of Survival is another PUBG clone. It came out after PUBG Mobile was announced but before the release date. You drop in from an airplane, find stuff, and kill people as per the norm. This one has some additional weapons, vehicles, and matches with 120 players. It’s a little less composed than most battle royale games, but that also adds an element of chaos for better or for worse. While the death toll is usually high at the beginning of matches, as the playable area becomes smaller and smaller, the gameplay becomes tense and more stealth-based, as being hidden is a huge benefit and often provides the upper hand during enemy encounters.

Even on mobile devices, it always feels good to sneak up on someone completely oblivious to your presence and then flatten them out with a frying pan before they even have a chance to retaliate. Online play in Rules of Survival is simple and streamlined. There are solo, duo, and squad mode options that allow for players to invite their friends and team up to fight together. While there is a noticeable amount of loading screens before beginning a match, it doesn’t take excessively long to boot up.

10.ZombsRoyale.io

ZombsRoyale.io
ZombsRoyale.io

30+ million players have played. Compete in the best free 2D 100-person
real-time BR game on mobile. From the creators of Spinz.io and Zombs.io comes
one of the most fun and adrenaline-filled games you’ll ever play! ZombsRoyale.io is an arcade shooter with battle royale elements. You drop into a world with a bunch of players. The goal is to be the last person standing, obviously. It uses simple 2D graphics, simple controls, and simple mechanics. It doesn’t take long to learn. Additionally, there are team play modes, a metric ton of cosmetic stuff, leaderboards, weekly events, and more. This feels more like a mobile game than a console title ported to mobile. That’s perfectly okay, but it does come with a bunch of freemium elements. Plus, the stability is a little rocky on occasion. Otherwise, it’s one of the best battleroyale games for mobiles.

11.Hopeless Land: Fight For Survival

Hopeless Land: Fight For Survival
Hopeless Land: Fight For Survival

Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival is a battle royale that’s clearly inspired by PUBG or Rules or Survival and challenges up to 120 players to jump with a parachute over an island that’s full of weapons. The last man standing (or the last four if you play by teams) can proclaim himself victorious.  As with most other similar games, in Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival you can customize your controls to fit your preferences. There are three basic frameworks you can choose from, but just in case that’s not enough, you can also adjust each button individually, which helps you create a totally customized control experience.

All the players in Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival start by jumping off a plane with a parachute. As soon as you land on the island, make sure you start looking for weapons, shields, and other objects that can help you survive. Once you’ve got a good arsenal, beware of the rest of the players and the energy field that’ll start closing off little by little.

12. ScarFall: The Royale Combat

ScarFall: The Royale Combat
ScarFall: The Royale Combat

ScarFall: The Royale Combat is an Indian survival game developed by Surat-based gaming and IT service provider, XSQUADS Tech LLP. It supports online and offline gameplay where players fight to become the last player standing. Otherwise known as battle royale, ScarFall pits 48 players against each other on various maps. You can choose to play as a single-player or play in teams of 2 or 4. You can play this game in 3 modes: Classic, Survival, and Team Death Match. You can create your own private server, or join a public one.

These matches can last several minutes. For short matches, you can enable Arcade mode. It has 3 small maps namely Snowdusts, Boneyard, Arsenal. In a 4vs4 match, the gameplay can be quite intense when held on a small map. Survival and Classic modes have big maps like Mayhem 2.0 and Iceland.

13.Farlight 84

Farlight 84
Farlight 84

Farlight 84 is a 40 player battle royale title, though it’s looking to mix up the formula in several ways. But it still follows that familiar setup of tossing a bunch of players onto a map before they battle it out to be the last person standing. In Farlight 84’s case, they’ll be fired from a cannon onto the game’s map. Once they’ve landed, they’ll need to scurry about the map looking for various weapons. There are four manufacturers of guns in Farlight 84 named Prism Technology, 9A Corporation, Murphy Security, and Wasteland Spirit. In addition to firing bullets, these weapons also possess a unique skill that the developers say will add new tactics to the gunfights.

There will be a plethora of weapons to use in Farlight 84 with something to please every playstyle. Similarly, there are a variety of vehicles to make use of too including multi-legged machines, jetpacks, and bouncing boards. This is all tied together with an energy system that limits the usage of vehicles, weapons, and shields to make players think more tactically about what’s needed at the time.

14.Cyber Hunter

Cyber hunter
Cyber hunter

The game is very different from PUBG. It has cartoonish graphics, sci-fi elements, and the physics is very different from that which PUBG has. Thus, most PUBG players will not find the game worth playing. But, there will definitely be a small portion of people who after checking this game out will love it more than PUBG. The graphics (though cartoon-ish) are very beautiful, the gameplay is fantastic, there are a variety of cool skins, very different guns which shoot charged laser shots and the vehicles are also really amazing. The mechanics and physics of this game are also very different. You can do front rolls and deploy your glider whenever you are falling from a height.

Much to our surprise though, Cyber Hunter is so much more than that and offers genuine innovation in the battle royale space. It’s really not all that similar to Fortnite. You won’t spend your time building huge structures or hitting trees and rocks with a pickaxe for resources. There’s just one resource, Quantum Energy, which you use to build everything. You collect it much like you do your weapons and other gear. It’s just dotted around the world and you’ll gather it automatically as soon as you step near it.

15.Apex Legends Mobile

Apex legends mobile
Apex legends

Apex Legends Mobile plays similar to, say, the PC version or the console version of the game. It’s essentially a battle royale in which you drop into a map, gather around some loot, eliminate other squads and be the last squad standing. The version of Apex Legends Mobile that’s live here in India is a beta build of the game, so it goes without saying that it’s not there yet. There is a roster of heroes to choose from, each with unique powers, and those powers have made the transition nicely. You’ll airdrop into the map and find loot lying around to equip yourself with before a circle slowly shrinks to force players into the same areas. Whichever player or squad is left standing will be crowned the champions.

The weaponry and characters in Apex Legends Mobile are all from the main game, so if you’ve played that version you’ll be on firm ground, but there’s one big change – it’s now in third-person. You’ll control your character more easily that way using touch controls, before hopping into first-person when you aim down your weapon’s sights. This might be a bit of a difference, but it’s standard for many mobile shooters and will be very familiar to veterans of the hugely popular mobile version of PUBG.

These are the top 15 battle royale games for mobile phones.

Happy Gaming. See you In-Game.
