That’s all folks. These were all the steam settings that you need to use to boost performance in GTA V and GTA Online. You can also check out the GTA V graphics settings guide.
If you want to improve GTA V and GTA Online performance even further than you can change the process priority for GTA V using the task manager. Set GTA V’s priority to “High.” so that more resources are allocated to GTA V. You should also set the Rockstar Social Club overlay and GTALauncher priority to “Low”.
If you want this to happen automatically then use the following method.
Step 1:Create a text file.
Step 2: Copy the below code
start steam://rungameid/271590
timeout 60
wmic process where name="GTA5.exe" CALL setpriority "high priority"
wmic process where name="gtavlauncher.exe" CALL setpriority "idle"
wmic process where name="subprocess.exe" CALL setpriority "idle"
Step 3: Save the file with a .bat extension. Now Run this file to launch GTA V instead of the regular shortcut icon. This mini script will automatically set the process priority as high for GTA V.
That’s all folks these were some tricks to speed up GTA V performance. If you know more ways to boost GTA V settings then let me know in the comment section below. Happy Gaming.
See you in-game.
