KO Player best settings for gaming and Performance.

KO Player is one of the rather old and unknown emulators out there. It is fairly minimalistic and thus is excellent for low-end systems. The major drawback is the lack of features. If optimized properly, it can be ideal for gaming since its smaller than most other emulators.  This makes the emulator ideal for low-end budget systems who want to play games such as Pubg Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile. But many people are new to the KO Player. So here is a noobs2pro special guide On how to Ko player Settings to fix lag and make optimizations for high-end gaming games like PUBG mobile and call of duty.

Ko Player Performance and Optimization settings

There are three types of settings you can change:

  • General Settings
  • Advance Settings
  • System settings

General Settings

Resolution: HD Landscape

For best performance on KO Player, I recommend using the HD Landscape Option. If you want even higher FPS, then go with the default landscape option. The resolutions can be seen in the image above. HD Landscape is better for games such as pubg mobile since you can spot players quite easily.

Performance Settings

CPU: Same as your CPU Cores

Set it the same as your CPU Cores so that you can get the best performance for gaming. If you have a four-core CPU, then go with four cores. If you have an eight-core CPU, then go with 8. Make sure you are not running any other resource-intensive app while gaming on KO Player.

RAM: Same as your Ram

Give KO Player all the Ram you have if you are running a low-end system. Running Games Like Pubg and call of duty requires a lot of RAM. Even after using my PUBG Mobile Optizmation guide. I recommend giving it at least 4GB Ram for smooth gameplay. 8gb ram is recommended for better gaming performance on Ko Player

Rending Mode: Speed Plus or Speed

This setting depends on the game you are playing and your GPU. If you have one of the latest GPUs, then use Speed Plus. It gives the best performance and lag-free gameplay. With older systems and GPUs, Speed is a better alternative.

I recommend testing the FPS for each major game you are playing. Some games run better in speed plus while some run better in speed. So it is best to test each game.

But in my opinion, speed plus is the best for most games.

GPU Memory Optimization: enabled

Use GPU Optimization. It gives better gaming performance and also saves some resources. If you have a low-end GPU, then you definitely need to use it. It can help get you those extra FPS in games such as Pubg mobile and call of duty.

Allocated Virtual Memory: Double your actual RAM

Your virtual memory should be double your actual RAM. This memory is used when the system runs out of Ram, so the more you have, the better.

This setting is hidden inside system settings.

Go to control panel>System and security.

  • I can’t change the CPU core and Ram values on advanced settings. The CPU core is locked at 1 (I can’t edit it), and the ram value won’t go any higher than 4 GB. Is there any specific configuration or process that would help me solving this?
